Be a PTA Superhero! Support the PTA!

PTA News - Be a PTA Superhero!  Support the PTA!
We all want the same thing - a bright future for our children.  The Woodbury PTA's mission is to encourage that and make every child’s potential a reality by focusing on the whole child - including nutrition, health, and well-being - with funding for programs and events such as:
 * STEAM Lab activities
* Assemblies, Lunchtime Activities, and Lower Grade Art
* 5th Grade Girls Talk & Tea and 6th Grade Guys Stuff Night
* Drug Awareness - Red Ribbon Week and DARE Graduation
* Fall Pictures and Spring Book Fair
* Social activities and events like the Ice Cream Social, Haunted Maze, Family Fun Night, Mustang Olympics, the year-end Carnival, and much more!
Most of these programs and events would not be possible without the PTA.  We need your support to make it happen and provide a well-rounded experience for your child at Woodbury.
How Can I Support the PTA?
#1: Become a PTA member.
The easiest way to support the PTA is to become a PTA member.  It costs $15 and anyone can join!  We like to encourage both parents to be members, plus grandparents, relatives, friends, and neighbors!  When you join the PTA, you not only receive voting rights at our general association meetings, but also access to PTA member discounts at national and local businesses such as Aquarium of the Pacific, California Academy of Sciences, Dave & Buster's and Legoland.  This year everyone who joins or renews their membership before August 1st will receive a customized Superhero inspired pencil.

Sign up today!
#2: Donate to the PTA Pledge Drive
The Woodbury PTA is a non-profit organization and fully funded by tax-deductible donations.  The recommended donation is $100 per student, but any amount is accepted.  Each child that donates at least $100 will receive a Woodbury Superhero Backpack Medallion!  And if we meet our fundraising goal, EVERYONE in the school gets a Medallion.  So every dollar counts!
 Thank you for your gifts and we are excited for all the activities planned for this year.
